HI PA Families, it’s that time to start getting ready for cast fittings and cast photos. We will be having both in mid/end of February. All actors will need AT HOME ITEMS. Please look below at the character list, and the items you will need from home are there. When it lists “black Jazz shoes,” black tennis shoes work as well. We would just need solid black shoes, keeping in mind that they need to be comfortable to dance in. You also have the option of a specific color tennis shoe.

Please send these items to school in a bag with your child’s full name and cast #. Please label every item in the bag with actors name. They can be dropped off with me or on the cart in the office. It’s important to have these items for cast fittings on February 17th/18th and for cast photos on February 23rd (all happen during the school day). You can send things in as you get them, and our costume dept. will be keeping track. These items are used for easy changing; they are considered an undergarment for quick and easy changes.

Couple Reminders: *** PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF SCRIPTS OR SNACKS ON WEDNESDAY’S**** Actors must remember their items.
They will not be accepted in the office.

SHOES:

We are asking each actor to supply black jazz shoes or solid colored shoes (see chart below for specific color for each character). If they do not have black jazz shoes or the requested colorful shoe, or are not able to get a pair, other black shoes are ok as long as they are fully black. Please no other colors or brand logos. Black dress shoes are best. Below are some suggested shoes and styles, but you do not have to buy these exact shoes.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO BUY THE COLORFUL SHOE, REMINDER THAT SHOES MUST BE FULLY ONE COLOR – NO PATTERNS OR RAINBOW SHOES PLEASE!

BLACK PANTS:

Can be leggings, dress pants etc. Please no logos, stripes or any other markings. 

Fully black pants.

BLACK BASE SHORTS:

Fitted dance shorts preferred. Please no logos or other markings. These shorts will be worn under your actors costume so the more form fitting, the better.

BASE BLACK OR WHITE TANK TOP:

A plain black or white tank top. Again, please no logos or other markings. Tighter fitting tank tops preferred as these will also be worn under your actor’s costume. 

*Please make sure that all at home items are LABELED with your actors name. On the tag, on a piece of tape inside the clothing item, etc.*
