Hello all, we completed all Cast Fittings today. Thank you to everyone who was able to do a quick turnaround with “At Home Item.” Next Monday, February 24th, we will be doing Cast Photos all day. “At Home Items” are very important for Cast Photos. We will be using these photos in our program and selling them during the shows. Please try to get all items turned in to me, by Monday morning.
Here is a link with all cast members and what has been received. Please check closely. Some actors are required to have pants and not shorts. Please see what is listed as “still needed” next to your child’s name

We must receive ALL at-home items before February 18th. Please drop off these items with Mrs. Melcer as soon as possible. Please place all At Home Items in a bag with your child’s name clearly marked and what cast they are in.
Here is a list of what your child will need in their At Home Item bag: (All Black shoes are fine, make sure they are comfortable)

Pre-Order Ticket Form- Please return your Pre-Order Ticket Form by February 26th. If you pay via the web store, you MUST include a copy of your receipt.
Director’s message: All actors must be memorized (off book) up to page 61 by next week. Today, actors could hold their scripts. Starting next week, directors will ask actors not to carry their scripts on stage.
Remember, even if you are absent the dance videos are posted on the link. It’s your responsibility to memorize them when you are out. Come to rehearsal prepared.

Hi Parents, I just wanted to give a few updates on questions I am receiving.
For costume “At Home Items”- “Black Pants”– are not used for undergarments- these are like something you would wear to school- they are the bottom half of costumes. They can be leggings, shorts, or pants- but fully black.
“Black Base Shorts and Black Top”- are undergarment items.
Shoes: Black Jazz Shoes are preferred, but fully black shoes are acceptable- just keep in mind they need to be flexible and comfortable enough for dancing.
I hope that helps with the costumes!!
Tickets—I know the letter is overwhelming and confusing. We have rewritten it many times. Remember, for the “First Round Drawing,” you can purchase a maximum of two tickets (front page). Once we select your name, we will give you two options in case your first choice has been taken. Then, for the “Second Round Drawing,” you can purchase a Maximum of four tickets (back page).
For example:
2 VIP tickets for round 1 =$40 (front page)
4 VIP tickets for round 2 =$80 (back page)
Total tickets purchased= 6
Total amount paid= $120.00
This would be an example of the maximum number of total tickets you can purchase for the Random Drawing. Please remember, if you pay through the webstore, you must attach a copy of your receipt— not just the receipt number, but a complete printout of your receipt from the webstore.

I hope you are all doing well. I know all of our actors are excited to perform Madagascar Jr. One of the keepsakes each of us gets to walk away with when the production is complete will be the show program. This program is free to all families who attend the play. The program is in full color with a thick binding so it will last for a long time.
I am working with my committee for ads and shoutouts to fill our amazing program with ads from local businesses who want to advertise and ads from you and your family to cheer on your actor(s). We also have shoutouts that you can send to your actor(s) to send them well wishes.
The funds raised through the program ads and shoutout sales goes right back to the performing arts program. I’m sure your actor(s) would love to see a dedicated page or half a page or a little greeting from you and your family printed on our program. If you also know any businesses including your own, please note that at each show there are 300 members in our audience at each show and we have six shows total which provides a huge amount of advertising for the local business.
Please check out the donation letter, ad form and shout outs. There will be a link on the PTA webstore at www.heritageaviators.com to make these purchases online or you can drop the form off at the office in an envelope with your Child’s name with a check or cash. Everything is due March 7th. We will need the form filled out and the fees paid for it to be deemed submitted. Don’t wait till the last minute.
Let me know if you have any questions. You can also email at heritageperformingartsads@gmail.com
I am enclosing past program ads to give you a better idea

What a great first day of rehearsals. The actors were very excited to get their scripts. Please make sure they are cared for and brought to rehearsals every Wednesday.
Here is the Google Drive link for the dances that are being taught. Once a dance is taught, it will be added to this link. Some dances are different for each cast, so in that case, use the one that lists your specific cast #. The link has music (rehearsal and performance tracks) and the document for dance videos!

Please remember rehearsals are every Wednesday from 1:30-3:30. If you are running late, please try to set up a place to have a neighbor or friend pick up your child. By 3:45, if your child has not been picked up, they will be in the front office, and you must walk in and sign them out.

I have been hearing that some are not receiving all of my emails. Please email me if you do not receive an email (hopefully, you all can keep each other informed). I am working on figuring out what the problem is.
Now that we are underway, I want to reach out to you all about emails. I would like to share all emails for the SOLE PURPOSE of connecting regarding performing arts, helping each other out with performing arts, and bonding as a family of performing arts. Please let me know if you would rather not have your email shared. If I do not hear back from you in the next couple of days, I will assume you all are ok with sharing.
With that, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES can the email list be used for ANYTHING OTHER THAN PERFORMING ARTS RELATED. If the emails are used for other purposes, your child will be removed from the program.
